When we hunger for the word of God—we are hungering after Jesus. To experience spiritual maturity in Spirit over Flesh—we need to develop hunger for His word. If our natural body represented the amount of time we consumed God’s word—I wonder how many of us would have an emaciated appearance? To develop spiritual maturity in a Spirit over Flesh life, we need to begin in God’s word.

Prayer

Dear Lord, I need to know Your word more deeply in my life. Renew the right spirit in me to hunger after your word in daily Bible reading. In Jesus’ name, amen.
