Just because life gets hard doesn’t mean that we need to give up. When it gets hard, it means that we need to lean more into God than we ever did before. When it gets hard, it means that God is growing us up to be more like His Son, Jesus. When it gets hard, we have an opportunity to let the glory of God shine through in our words and actions. When it gets hard, we know that we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus.

Life is hard sometimes and as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we have the Holy Spirit within us to help us get through the tough times. We are empowered by God to see above our situation in hopes of His intervention.

When we press our way through the tough stuff, we add another layer of spiritual maturity to our lives. As we persevere, we find ourselves more able to handle the storms and troubles of life. We become less panicky and worrisome when things don’t go our way.

When we press our way through difficulty, our lives become of testimony of God’s grace and mercy. Other believers will be drawn to us because they acknowledge the hand of God that enables us to overcome evil with good. As a result, we become more confident of God’s faithfulness not just for ourselves, but for others as well.

When we press our way through hard times, we are reminded that this world is not our home. We remember that our labor is not in vain as God has prepared a reward for those who follow after Him with their whole hearts. As we keep our eyes on the finish line, we are encouraged to keep pressing through the hard times because the reward is worth it.
