Video Blog – Seriously God – Look to God

We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.

2 Chronicles 20:10

King Jehoshaphat found himself in a difficult place. A great multitude of other nations raised up war against them. The king did what other kings before and after him did not do—he humbled himself to seek the Lord, proclaimed a national fast, and prayed publicly for the Lord’s deliverance.

His prayer included reminding God of who He was “O LORD, God of our fathers, are you not God in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. In your hand are power and might, so that none is able to withstand you”. In the assembly of all the people including babies and small children—Jehoshaphat cried out for God’s hand to save them from their enemies. He admitted their powerless and inability to know what to do. However, their eyes were on God.

The Lord delivered them in a miraculous way—their enemies ended up completely destroying each other and leaving Judah all the spoils of war. Can this
happen for us today? Can we call out to God for deliverance, praying like Jehoshaphat and looking to God?

Absolutely! God is the same today, yesterday, and forevermore. He is no respecter of persons—no favoritism with Him. He will deliver us from our enemy, Satan, and everyone the devil uses against us.

Prayer

Dear Lord, without You I can nothing. I look to You to deliver and help me on the right course of life. You are my strength to overcome the enemies in my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.

In His Service,
