Esther models what to do when we need to make crucial decisions–that is to turn to God. It could be about purchasing a new house or car, taking on a new job, or getting married. Our success rests primarily on our desire to humbly turn to God’s will. When we ask God to lead us in His direction rather than our own desires, we experience the joy and peace of knowing that we have exactly what He wants for us.

Dear Lord, help me to come to You first before turning to anyone else. I need direction from Your Spirit every day. In Jesus’ name, amen.
