Proverbs 3:4

As believers, we may find ourselves marginalized as we stand for Christ and His kingdom. Some of us are teased and called brainwashed. What does the F.A.V.O.R. of God allow us to do:

F – Frees us to trust and lean on His grace to move forward
“I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:14) Each of us have a calling from God to fulfill His purpose in our lives. God’s favor bolsters our confident to move past our doubts and towards His

A – Always provides a way of protection and insight in our weaknesses
Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. (Isaiah 43:19) God’s favor protects us not only from others, but from our own faults and weaknesses. He provides forgiveness and redemption so we can move beyond our past and towards freedom.

V – Vets us through unexpected fiery trials.
“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” (James 1:12) God’s favor guides us through our trials so that we can shine the light of Christ resulting in His glory. His favor gives the strength to go through times of difficulty to the other side of perseverance.

O – Orders the plan for our lives in spite of what others have done to us.
“As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.” (Genesis 50:20) God’s favor influences our life journey so that man’s plans can’t thwart His goodness. Regardless of the circumstances, God can use it to bring about His perfect will.

R – Restores our brokenness and brings us into restoration
“I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you.” (Joel 2:25) The favor of God goes far beyond our lifetime into the next generation. Our reconciliation with God, others, and within ourselves allows us to experience freedom from fear, guilt, and shame.
