Have you ever felt abandoned by God? You’ve prayed over and over again—and yet it doesn’t seem like anything is happening. You’ve called out to God to intervene and at times it seems like things have gotten worse. You keep reading your Bible and living righteously; however, life still seems to have taken a direction that you haven’t planned on.

Sometimes it’s difficult to believe that God longs to hear and answer our prayers. Yet He does. No matter who loves us right now—their love pales in comparison to the overwhelming and steadfast love of God toward us.

Prayer

Dear Lord, I look to you to answer my prayers. I seek your wisdom and direction from the Holy Spirit on how to pray every day. Help me to continue to pray. In Jesus’ name, amen.
