One of the biggest hurdles I had to overcome as a single mom was to make all the decisions for the family. The pressure was huge—and I never quite felt prepared nor comfortable in making major decisions like the purchase of a home or car, what school should my kids attend, etc. However, it didn’t matter how I felt—because many times a decision needed to be made quickly—whether I felt great or horrible.
I leaned heavily on God’s direction and presence in my life. There were many times when I wished I had more time, but sometimes it didn’t matter—because I would’ve procrastinated the tough decisions as long as possible. Everything in the last five years didn’t happen the way I always wanted or planned, yet everything worked out or is still working itself out. Watch this video to learn to DECIDE.
Dear Lord, it’s difficult to make a decision on my own so I’m depending on You to show me the right way to go that I may bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, amen.
