What do you do in times of bewilderment? The world turns to many things such as alcohol, drugs, recreation, and the arms of another in order to find something to numb the pain. Yet as believers, we are to stay firm in the faith and wait on the Lord to show us the next steps. Just as Mary stayed and wept, we too may find ourselves weeping before the Lord in the early morning or late hours of the night. If we stay, He will meet us there.

Prayer

Dear Lord, I’ve been grieved in my spirit, and I make myself stay at Your feet. Show Yourself to me so that I may be comforted and strengthened to move forward. In Jesus’ name, amen.
