Young children cling to their parents when they are alarmed, afraid, or hungry. They seek their parents’ comfort as well as provision for their needs. A good father and mother will do whatever it takes to restore their child’s faith and help them to move forward. God is the ultimate and perfect Father for His children. He will do whatever it takes to draw us near to Him when we are feeling off-balance by life’s many trials.

Prayer

Dear Lord, I want to be closer to You than I’ve ever been before. Give me insight to what I need to do to draw near to You, and I pray that You will draw near to me. Amen.
